My 1st and 2nd Cars Empty My 1st and 2nd Cars

Post by Stemh Thu Mar 26 2009, 16:43

Hi all

I Passed my test in June 2008. My first car was a Ford Fiesta 1.1LX which was given to me by my dad as a first car about a year before i was 17, so i could have fun and learn my way around cars by playing about with it.

This is how it was when i got it:

My 1st and 2nd Cars FiestaFront2

As you can see it was very basic. But i wanted to make the most of what i had. So after joining another car enthusiasts forum (www.fiestaturbo.com), I decided that i wanted to make it into a Fiesta RS Turbo Replica. So after a few months of gathering parts, me and my brother spent about 2 weeks putting it all together.

This is what it looked like eventually:

I had this car for about 9 months before i got bored with the 1.1 engine. So i was offered a Ford Mondeo 1.8LX. It was a big step up from my little mondeo, but i liked the idea!

So this is my current car:
My 1st and 2nd Cars DSC06170

My 1st and 2nd Cars DSC06163

My 1st and 2nd Cars DSC06174

My plans for this car is to make it into a Mondeo St200 Replica. But progress has been very slow due to funds and insurance premiums! lol

Let me know what you think Smile

The fiesta was more fun for you, even though the mondeo's faster though Razz
And you didn't get bored with the engine! You knew it wouldn't pass it's next MOT so sold it off!!!! XD

The fiesta would have gone through it's next mot no problem, it went through the most recent one with only minor stuff needed

Oi Matt, leave my old fiesta alone! (just cos u wanted it...)

It was a very fun car, but i think the mondeo is more fun after thinking about it lol

But i did get rid of it because the rust was starting to set in, after having to weld the sills, i was going to get rid of it before the next MOT.

Then i was offered a mondeo, how could i say no? haha

I'm not saying that the mondeo isn't an excellent car, just that it needs a decent hand brake Razz
